Learning the Ropes

There was some serious handy work going down over Christmas vacation.

The "boys" needed constant supervision.

It's a good thing Poppy and Mimi gave me a tool set for Christmas. My new drill came in very handy.

The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

Christmas Eve Mass with the big kids. WAY more fun than the parental unit.

See, Santa? I'm being good. Don't read anything into that impish grin.

The anticipation of it all makes me wanna busta move!

Dear Santa: I hope you like the treats we baked for you and the carrots we peeled especially for the reindeer!

After hearing the jingle of sleigh bells overhead, I quickly gave out my hugs and headed straight to bed (sort of).

Can I open yet? Can I, can I?

Wowsers! A Hot Wheels race track!

Paging through this year's book from Poppy. "The Polar Express" -- excellent choice, Poppy!

The Krenzer Clan. Yes, I am related to the Yankees enthusiast on the right. A little rivalry between family makes it fun. PS - Yankees, yuck!

See, I still love him!

Continuing to enjoy the Christmas story...

Stirring up the Christmas spirit

We're having this much fun and it's not even Christmas yet? Visits to the Garden Factory's train display and holiday fun factory as well as the Park Avenue Holiday Festival kicked our Christmas spirit into high gear.

Waving to the trains going round and round and taking a few trips down the big slide with Dad and Mom.

Make this quick. I see train rides and bounce houses with my name all over them.

Aaah yeah. This is the stuff. Choo-choo!

One question: Again?

I'll hold up my end of the bargain if you hold up yours. Trains, trucks, and excavators. Got it, Mr. C?

So much white space. Just where to begin.

It's cold and these horses kind of smell. You want me to smile?

Tree Trimming

I've found the perfect spot. R-E-A-C-H...

Success. Yay for me!

The hanging of the Fenway Park ornament. A tradition not to be taken lightly.

Butterball 2009

Turkey-testing. Hmm, hmm. Passes the Butterball inspection.

I smile only for turkey.

Bewitched by Wii.

Tryptophan aftermath.

No Tricks; Just Treats

For weeks the little fire fighter had been asking to go trick-or-treating. As the countdown narrowed to four, three and two days away, he was so accustomed to disappointment he would respond to his own question like this: "Two weeks. Trick-or-treating in two weeks." He really thought Halloween would never deliver. But it did...and he loved every minute of it.

Mr. October poses with his fans.

The Chief and his dogs. The accuracy of this photo is not to be underestimated.

Make me look tough, camera man.

Trick or Treat!

A lot of work to be done. Lotta work.

The Makings of the 2009 Jack-o-Lantern

You hearing what I'm saying, Mom? Less pout, more grin.

I'm liking it, I'm liking it!

Now when do we trick-or-treat?
